Style

The style command switches the application to another shadcn-svelte style, which changes the look of its components.

Syntax

$ vela ui style <style>

$ vela ui style maia

Before anything is written, Vela reads the new style’s registry, lists the installed components it will re-add from there, and asks for confirmation. Those components are replaced with the new style’s version, so local edits to their files are lost; git diff src/lib/components/ui shows what was replaced. Vela’s own components, and any component the registry doesn’t offer, are left alone.

The style is recorded in components.json and the style’s font is applied: its package is installed and imported in src/app.css. The previous font’s import is kept, and the command points it out so you can remove it. Colors are not changed; use base and theme for those.

• -y, --yes - Skip the confirmation prompt
• --no-font - Keep the current font instead of applying the style’s

New applications start on vega. The list comes from the project’s shadcn-svelte, so a newer version may offer more.
