Delete

Remove a backup from a target.

Syntax

$ vela backup delete vela_myapp_20260901134501.zip

It asks first, with the archive’s size, unless -y is passed.

Options

• -y, --yes - Skip the confirmation
• -t, --target <target> - Which copy of the app to act on, defaults to production
• --server <ssh> - Server this target runs on, recorded on first use

This deletes the copy on the server. Anything already downloaded with vela backup download is untouched.
